the point of binary brush is cleanness, as well as using as few liens as possible. it's not about being afraid of showing the rough to look clean, it's about shoving the rough to be clean

also the redrawing task is not only to clean the lines like you imply, but making conscious changes too, like moving the head a little, changing the position of the shoulder, changing the proportions of a limb, simplifying some forms, which, usually are made by redrawing

it's only for making the lines more clean you use ctrl z or eraser, which I happen to do quite little of towards the end when I am approaching something I am more happy with

anyway see pic, so that we stop assuming things and know what we are talking about (and making this smaller size, side by side, taught me I draw at a too bigger resolution for 1 pixel brush, good time spend arguing with /ic/)
