Hello, guys. I am preparing to do a drawing which has hands in it, so I drew some hands. What do you think?

How do I not focus on the contour of what I am drawing? I keep hearing that you don't want to focus on the contours, does that only count for gesture? Am I over thinking this?

Do you have any general tips on how to be drawing hands so they don't look grotesque?
