Is it worth doing both in your opinion? I started pretty recently, currently working through perspective made easy, and I was planning on following along with this plan.

Trying to work through step ten of perspective made easy. Can anyone explain the center of interests part? Is he basically saying dont draw to close to another perspective point? And concerning the roofs subsection, mine are just not coming out the way he depicts them in the book. Finally, how much should I know/be able to do by the time I finish perspective made easy, assuming I'm following pic related.

is this infographic suitable for someone who's not interested in being a professional artist and rather someone who's into the hobby aspect of it? my goal, in art, isn't to be a professional.
