/ic/ - Artwork/Critique

any advice for a pretty much absolute beginner? and yes I am going through the sticky (ctrlpaint is pretty useful). This pic is something I drew just to practice some techniques for digital painting from it (and I realise its terrible).

Some things about it i noticed which i need to work on -
shaky ass lines
poor colour choice
the lips and mouth look retarded as hell

its not finished because I got tired of looking at it part way through and deleted it
