although I've gotta admit I have to be in the mood for it. a lot of times I just do it as a warm up because I had trouble getting going that day.

Although there are things I considered sketches but some other might think are complete works. How far I took the drawings it depends on how interested I was in the subject usually, but other times it depends on my mental state or if I am just tired.

I have specific personal project that does require me to take it much further than just sketches so I do that regularly. If you are drawing mainly as a hobby then I don't think there is as strong of a impetus to finish them.
