The pursuit of other dreams.

Also, the norm of money and fitness.

In the context of intangible digital art commissions of a few hundred dollars each between parties potentially thousands of miles away the idea of lawyers being involved is flat out silly. While not an issue for me, holistically speaking many such commissions these days involve the creation of content that's against any reputable payment gateway's terms of service to begin with.

>if you don't draw male anthropomorphic insect-people going apeshit on one another's gaping corn holes with their massive, veiny winger-dingers as I'd requested in exchange for the $125 I'd erstwhile sent you I'm going to spend $500 minimum on a lawyer and countless hours of what would otherwise be my free time to sue your balls off...somehow!

I will concede that what I'd done is not something that someone should just go and do under typical circumstances-if any (not that I intentionally implied otherwise), but the phony pageantry of a contract that extends beyond the "gentlemen's agreement" being involved in such middling individual exchanges is wholly unnecessary so long as the service provider's reputation is alright. I had my reasons for doing what I did, they're my own and I don't have any regrets as far as that goes. However yes, pretty much 100% of the time you want to pay a little up front and a little later, it's common sense.

>I'm sorry if I've offended you by saying the word "liberal".

It was just banter my man, but the rest of what I've posted in this ITT thread certainly wasn't. There's no going back.

I ran into something like the opposite problem recently.

I offered a (up until that point) tepidly interested artist $20/hour to work on a project with me and they didn't take it. They didn't think my idea was fleshed out enough/presumably didn't like what little I did have to show them. Admittedly it wasn't (and still isn't) completely hashed out but shit nigga, shouldn't that be MY problem lmoa. I guess it's possible they just didn't like my uh...informal candor in either case.

I wasn't expecting to be put on trial about the project in question so I admit I wasn't really prepared to "defend it" from someone as dismissive of it right out of the gate as they were. I was a little nervous and trying to be as agreeable as possible in the hopes that I could salvage something in the end, but I'm sure it just made me come across as weak.

It was a terrible experience overall, but I actually came away from the exchange with a lot of respect for their professionalism. It's not that they were rude or anything like that, they just thought I'd be a shitty client/thought I had a shitty idea and I guess I didn't do enough to convince them otherwise.

I guarantee if a project I worked on was successful against all odds my artist(s) would be much better taken care of than they would working for just about anyone else, but nonetheless as a client I suppose we have obligations to the people we hire as well, ones that I apparently wasn't able to live up to at that time.

>the sensitivity issue I was having seems to have righted itself since last time; maybe I wasn't interpreting it correctly from the start

Probably going to have to compare them while having them right next to each other before I say one thing or another-and using different software, but I'm still confident the Intuos stylus is substantially better for what it's worth.

No worries.

I'm circumcised and when I've had sex it's always felt like I'm fornicating with a dusty baseball catcher's mitt somebody had sitting in their garage since the early 90's. Now I'm effectively asexual and impotent as well. At the very least, if you can't please a woman, perhaps you can at least please yourself, unlike me.

So after a bunch of research the results are kind of upsetting.

First off, the tab A that comes with the s-pen and the sensors required to use it doesn't exist in my region ;_; second I guess it has some pretty awful resolution by mobile standards. The information on the pen sensitivity isn't advertised anywhere so ots likely not one of its striking features.

Then there's the fact the specs are quite a bit lower than even some of the last gen smartphones. There aren't even any real compareable options for tablets besides the Microsoft surface series which are both quite expensive and incompatible with term plans at least where I live (Canada)

Meanwhile the current and last gen note smartphones have 2000-1000 pressure levels respectively and much better specs. Along with great resolution.

Why can't phone companies just give me tjr best of both worlds ;_; Thank you again for your insight though.
