Used Wacom tablets retain a pretty good portion of their value for years and years. They really only get sold at extremely reduced prices in anecdotal circumstances. As there isn't much compelling reason to purchase this new model (unless their "8000 pressure levels" gimmick pays off) I don't see it shaking up the used market enough to really drive prices down. Might as well just buy whatever you're going to buy, no use waiting around hoping to save a few dollars.
