Since a lot of anons seem to be into game and anime art, what are some good references that have solid construction to study from? More specifically fairly realistic pieces that are have anime influences.

Is it stealing to look at someone else's art and try to copy the style?
For example, I have a lot of pics where I want to copy their style, not the exact picture, but the style of it to try and learn how to achieve something similar, get the shading, colors and whatnot
