So if I post something and say like 10-12 follow me within that hour I should follow all of them back right away? Do I thank them for the like/follow?

I haven't been on any social media that shows my actual identity in the past 6 years and it shows. I don't know what the fuck to do. Is it awkward to thank people for the like or is that what I should be doing? Like just respond to everybody and use well thought out emojis? Follow everybody back and update constantly?

I tried twitter for the first time like 6 months ago; posted a sketch and got a bunch of followers but then lost them all the next day. I got frustrated/embarrassed and kind of left it at that. Pretty autistic, have been trying to get out of that by updating facebook more regularly. I have a real hard time putting myself out there- even start to sweat and my face turns red when I get mutuals on my gay little anonymous aesthetic tumblr.

I really want to get over this and start to at least try to sell some of my art cause I need money to save up for school. I'm tired of NEET life and want to grow.
