Both used to be marginally better but are now flooded by a deluge of low quality garbage and now AI sewage, and both will grab whatever you post there to feed to throw in the AI woodchipper. Also same issue as tumblr, impossible to get a paying audience there.

Quit my animation/illustration bachelor midway through when I realized everyone but 1 of the teachers were actually worse at drawing than my ngmi slightly-above-/beg/ ass. And you know what that one competent guy who cared subtly recommended? I shit you not- to fuck off and learn through online classes if you really wanna get shit done. Same guy who offered the Animator's Survival Kit for anyone to read in class, a book in which the author laments the lack of competent art teachers, and that was back in 2001.
Can't back >>5045257 's words enough, art school hasn't done shit to get me to improve even tho I invested time and work into it. All that I got out of it were a few artfag friends and an explanation about what you should include in an animation portfolio (given by that 1 based teacher who knew his shit). Of which I could dig up a picture if anyone's interested.
