it looks like the person shat itself. due to the restricted leg's momentum. try to walk like this, with the same speed.
so the thighs are barely moving out from the passing position. correct the extremes. I would suggest to simply add a couple of more frames towards the extended extremes, so you'll automatically correct the timing too.
but if you want to be fancy, you could work on the hips and the torso rotation. you know, the shoulders move contrary to the other leg forward, in order to balance out the pose.
