For reference, here's how a "realistic" mangaka "draws" his women. Load blender, add lighting, trace it. Slap manga eyes on it. Not trying to make it manga vs comics. Just showing this is acceptable to millions of people buying manga and this guy is considered a "great artist". But upscaling art/coloring it with AI is not and now pulling the art.

you can make some shitty anime trash. the coloring is only impressive part. max rendering and you can hide most flaws is what you should be learning from this. eventually, he'll be able to trace like a true jap and wont have to worry about the flaws.

99.9999% of manga is traced and 3d models. they do some clothing and bug eyes. its very easy to be consistent with blender. its not art. its a sterilized pipeline.
