First of all, I want to thank you so much for understanding. Was in a car accident, which totaled my car, so I'm in pain physically, been out of work for several weeks now because of it so I'm struggling financially, and with being out of a car is causing several other things to spiral out of control which is draining me mentally.
In short I've not had the best start to the year. Been handling the problems as they come by, and then giving myself a break whenever I have time for leisure, and I've been focusing on my art to hopefully open up commissions again to help with my financial issues right now.

Yes, you'd be correct that I didn't use a full reference, which admittedly I should have since anatomy is really not my strong suit. I did however look up some similar poses, to try to help with the position that I wanted to draw, but I couldn't find one that was this specific pose. I also was kind of sleep deprived at the time of drawing this one, but I did an earlier SFW piece the other day with the same character where I wasn't focusing as much, but on the other hand did turn out slightly better in pic related. Broad shoulders have always been a weakness of mine and I can't seem to stop drawing them, so tips on how to break that habit would be appreciated as well.

I have done a few other pieces this year, since I made it my New Year's Resolution to draw more, but this one definitely turned out much worse than my others, which is why I seeked help on it, which you did provide, and I am definitely grateful for it.

But yeah, in short my takeaway from this is
1. Use a reference
2. Keep proportions realistic
3. Draw more and pay attention to the base piece and look to improve at least one thing from my last drawing and then compare to this one
4. Use a flipping reference
