it's a mistake that isn't supposed to happen because of countless duplicate images in the training data.

take bloodborne for example. if countless images with this exact same figure are in the training data, all with different crops, with slightly different palettes, somethimes as an illustration, as various versions of covers or promo material, the AI will sometimes then get the idea that the "bloodborne" is tied not only to that character, but that specific image, with pose and all, and memorizes it wholesale.

it's almost like "symbol drawing for AI".
just because this happens, that does not mean that AI copies in general.

i don't think i ever did. not even sure what that means exactly. but i don't believe that anything is over for art due to AI. quite the opposite.
