>I’ve been trying to get my work out there, and some anonymous moderator decides that I’m a beginner artist when my work is—and this isn’t to disparage the wonderful porn artists out there—better than half of the work they let sit on Rule 34.
I don't think I'll ever get what makes a person this deluded. It's almost tragic. It's not a matter of being coddled, you should be able to tell when your work is basically bad on your own. It's like some people are missing important brain machinery used for basic comparison & analysis.
That said, booru sites are a garbage dump. I'm not actually sure she IS worse technically than some of the trash currently on the front page of R34, but her stuff's perhaps more inherently disgusting, stylistically.
Also, most art teachers are shitty amateurs. There's essentially 0 correlation between artistry and art teaching. Why even mention your credentials in this field? It's like saying "I'm a music teacher, now sign me, Sony." Again, lacking in self awareness.

It's a waste of time, you retard, and it's not what artists do. It doesn't even occur to artists to just drill straight lines for weeks! Still not getting it?
Okay: it's not about the raw amount of time spent grinding these tedious unartistic exercises. It's the fact that in the act of doing these dull repetitions, it never even occurs to you to _create_ anything, to indulge deeply in the act of drawing for its own sake. It's borderline NPC behavior, stop doing it unless you're a human insect.
You shouldn't have to kick yourself to draw a fun dumb little thing that you enjoy on some level.

Problem is that you either get simple answers as loomis or just keep styding bro or pjust ignored, /beg/ is great if you are beg since you get straigh answers but the second you are not day 1 beg you start getting less clear answers and finally fuck off not /beg/

RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO ~1000 PIXELS:
1. screenshot the image and post that instead
2. change camera capture settings to something smaller
3. send to computer and resize in picresize.com
