This has been incredibly helpful. I was struggling with those types of hard edges, taking a lot of time to blend and colorpick to smooth them out. I've avoided rendering for the past few months and just been focusing on construction, draftsmanship, etc. because of how awkward it feels digitally.

On a technical note, do you recommend 0% minimum, and should flow also be mapped to pen pressure? Setting up my brush for rendering now, pic related.
