yes, that's a good idea, to give yourself over completely to one approach. I'm actually trying to do that too, with Loomis' figure drawing book. These figures were measured using his "intelligent measuring" approach, though, I don't know how helpful it is to hold up your pencil and measure with it.

Actually, I currently feel kinda lost as to how to improve my work even more, atm. I'm not sure if I should be doing studies from life, from masters, etc. or if I should be doing figure drawing, landscape drawing, if I should be doing tonal work, or pen and ink work, etc. maybe that's why what I've been posting has been kinda all over the place
