Literally, all I did was grayscale the image, a common value check in a lot of art circles.

This is correct. All of the subjects are faces, facing to the right. I've not seen anything else from you yet.

It has become increasingly clear that you will never improve beyond this point. You've lost your objectivity and ability for self-criticism... or maybe you've never had it. You take every criticism as an affront to your fragile ego.

And then you use this argument:

By the way, here's something a did about a year ago, covering the same subject matter that your paintings covered. It's not perfect, I know, but it shoes at least some amount of things that we talked about here.
