Thanks, i used white gouache in that pic, applied it with a small square brush. That's a simple cheap toned paper, don't even have a brand name.
Please show what you've done once you start sketching :3

I've never done hornbill before, so you confused me with someone else. Could you link his stuff though? Also, thanks for the idea, that bird is super fun to draw.

I know that feel. Your feathers are much better looking than mine though, so thanks for the inspiration, i'm gonna do a few more birds now.
