I've watched another guide on Loomis that said to echo the curve of the ear over the midpoint between the oval and the end of the circle

I think the proportions work better now.

However I feel like the ears are always a bit small.

Also any advice for drawing better mouths? I always had a hard time with them, especially making them expressive
