Animation it's all pain, I really wanna specialize in animation and workin on cartoons but the more I hear about the industry the worst it gets.
All I want is to make cool characters move and have a lot of "soul" to the style, why is everything so sterile nowadays.

Is it normal that my style "changes" everytime I am trying new stuff? I've been drawing furries for a while and now I am trying to learn new stuff to help my art improve, I am trying robots and other non-organic objects, even tho I know learning is good and all I am worried that this new stuff won't look like my older style and as such that I "Have no style at all".
Am I being too close minded? Worrying about my style being consistent? Is that's what keeping me back and making me mediocre?
