here's an actual serious non-joke answer as well: i've found excising my unhealthy desires through art helps alleviate much of my mental duress. it sure as hell won't work for everybody and if you've got problems please seek professional help but drawing a self representative character performing the actions my mind used to anxiously obsess over has helped me in my recovery from my eating disorders and issues with self harm. sorry for the blog post but hey, if this manages to help someone that'd be neat. or maybe they'll just develop some kind of fetish for being roughly manhandled and choked out... which isn't that healthy either but at least then we can kinda feel good about feeling bad ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
