my life is miserable

What are fundies?
As someone who has been drawing "wrong" all this time. How do I ensure I get a solid understanding of the basics?

What even are the basics?
Construction, perspective, color theory and anatomy?

I want to draw human figures that look appealing and 3d.
I want to draw scenes in various angles instead of "anime girl staring at the void full frontal or 3/4ths".

I wish I had someone to mentor me and keep me in the right path.

Should I go out of my way to attend live figure drawing sessions, or should I just copy pictures at home?

The life drawing sessions are a long drive away, and they cost money each time.

Has anyone made art friends from life drawing?

Nothing has been coming out right...

I am tired of trying to get better by myself. I feel like I am just running around fucking up without noticing and would like someone to handhold me.
