I like his paintings In the case of these two images in particular - One is a woman on a horse with a sword just standing there, the other is a woman with a sword just standing there. It's the "safest" way he could have depicted these.

Pic related by the same author is much more imaginative imo. Btw do not buy Ryan Pancoast's tutorials - it's the most chaotic, unstructured process possible. Probably why he goes with the safest poses and comps most of the time
