i've done practically only human characters for almost all my life (until i got into mlp and drew some ponies for a couple years) but i've been recently getting into cute furry/kemono styles and it's motivated me to explore less realistic proportions and anatomy (still not abandoning human art) because i like the fact that one aspect of furry styles is that they leave more room for freestyling said features
