She tries to be encouraging and seems to care and like my work, but I can tell she's disappointed by all I do, she lets it slip sometimes. I don't mind though, she did all she could to raise me. Probably too much, I never learned to work and my never really learned from my failures because she kept protecting me from the immediate consequences of my fuckups.
It kinda became another motivation for me, get decent and make a living out of my art before she dies to give her a reason to be proud of her son. That'd be nice.
