To be fair the actual dude looks like someone stabled on his ears. Also I'm pretty sure ears are consistently the least give a shit thing I do.

Word. I mean I am going for a kind of dead pan shock face, considering the dude had just been tortured and was getting to witness as his nationalistic actions caused a global descent into total war in a little conflict you may have heard of called the falklands war.
