any advice on how to improve between attempts? I am learning to draw figure but I feel like I'm drawing aimlessly so in the end each drawing is basically the same thing and not working towards reality

did not use reference for any of these. Would that help? If so should I draw like a page of attempts of the one reference image or just do lots of single attempts?
