A hexagonal 3d shape render. Or a failed cup, you decide.

Oh man, this is today's. This cup sucks dick, and I expected to do much better on this one. Graphite this time. The line drawing isn't super bad though.

The values are all fucked completely, the relativity between tones just isn't there. The values are just bad, the background blends in with the cup in some parts, and it shouldn't. Also the cylinder looks more like a pentagon. Need to re-draw this one, failed horribly on it.

Needless to say, I'm gonna re-draw it completely this time with a value map utilizing 7-9 values. I've never done one before, so should be a bit better than the original one.

And will get a white-gel marker for the highlights, hard to erase the little highlights accurately since the erasers don't have sharp edges.
