got my first ones on pixiv. a random guy sent me a message saying he liked how I drew and if I was interested in drawing for him. I didn't even had 500 followers at the time, too
now that drawing looks good but in my experience, commissioners will care more about the colors than the lines, unless they're artists as well, so you'll have to advertise yourself with colored drawings. or with manga pages

Pretty funny how you can have a thread like this with overall reasonable discussion at the current state of /ic/. Were OP talking about drawing lolicon on Twitter and you'd have the whole puritan squad storming in to derail the thread until it gets nuked to oblivion, as I've seen this happen before.
What gives?

>which brush size to use
Whatever looks the best to you
>optimal size to draw digitally
Really just depends what your computer can handle, but I normally stick to width and heights around the 3000px-4000px range. Also I think even numbers compress better when you upload online, so I always make sure to do that
>good pressure curve to start out with
It's literally whatever feels good. I personally find I hate brushes with sizes that change depending on pressure, so I turn it off. I like having opacity change depending on pressure though
>how to find a comfortable pressure curve
You just fuck with it until it feels good
>how to undo bad habits like drawing stiff figures
have a little bit of curvature in every segment of the body when you sketch them out. don't ever draw something like a forearm for example as a perfectly straight line
>how to fix shitty lines you're too used to drawing
this just happens overtime and is literally eye hand coordination
>how to get better when you're experienced but /beg/
no idea wtf "experienced but /beg/" means
