hey man,
You are starting to get a few concepts into your head and that's great.
But right now you still have a ways to go before you can apply the fundamentals correctly.

Using this painting as your guide you can now tell a lot about what you need to study next.

Human anatomy
Light / Shadow (Your forms completely lack terminators and cast shadows).
Color theory (You are lightening and darkening your local color using black and white).
Gestures.
Linework.
Design (Fist weapon illidan goblin rogue with a dranei torso), Read a book or watch a documentary instead.
You seem to like scars and stitches, Read Frankenstein and do a series of images from that as you study.
