I'm a beg but I much much prefer pic related compared to Fun with a Pencil. In fun with a pencil you start off drawing ugly old dudes and you have no confidence because you have absolutely no idea what you're doing. Meanwhile picrel gives you a ton of useful tips and exercises just in the first chapter and its drawing from life from the beginning.
