/ic/ - Artwork/Critique

Honestly, I was subscribed to his content, which is how I originally saw this video, but I ended up unsubscribing strictly because of it.

I was able to look past a lot of the flaws in his art to see his content for what it was: opinion pieces and story time videos from an artist slowly trying to improve and make it.

This video basically made me feel like he lacks any sort of way of understanding people even a little bit different than him, and he just wanted to lump everyone on 4chan in with /pol/. It also felt like he was trying to contrive content by going back into the archive and poking fun at something that someone said over 3 years ago.

Like, it just feels like he's trying to pivot from his Holly Brown video, and quite frankly, I hate bashing on both him and Holly Brown so much. Like, people should be allowed to learn from their mistakes and shortcomings. I don't know, I just feel he sees our wide variety of personalities and influences, lumps us all into "a hacker named 4chan" and calls it a fucking day.

Maybe you should see a counselor or something... Sounds like you really need to talk about it. You've been in other threads and say the same thing- just don't want you to bottle it all up and end up doing something fucking awful. I'm always afraid that I'll let slip that I was molested as a kid by older, bigger kids and ruin my life but it has yet to happen cause weed doesn't make you talk about shit you'd rather not- that's alcohol and e. You won't do that after a joint trust me but you do need to uh, find an outlet for that problem. Seriously.

Hitting a bowl helps me calm down and not over think stuff, my lines are more confident and can figure out proportions way easier. Don't get as easily frustrated either.
