The Simpsons, Yu-Gi-Oh! and fucking Death Note were animated by the same studio in Busan, South Korea. The problem is not the people doing the actual animation but the people in the US making the storiboards and character designers; there's this one actually well animated episode from Steven Universe, a guy from Studio Trigger was involved, people assumed that that one episode was done by Trigger and that that's why it was good; it wasn't, the storyboards were done by the Trigger guy the rest was done at the studio in Korea that normally works in SU, but the whole thing looked so much fucking better because the storyboard artist, unlike Rebecca and her clique, actually knew how to storyboard

After watching this episode, looking at all the panning, mouth flaps, limited animation etc... I wonder, can a 20 min long animation be done by about 20 people in like a week? We have photoshop and other programs to speed up the process, I think 20 people doing about a minute of animation in under a week is doable. I don't know, is something I'd like to try.
