I'm not brave enough to draw things which I'll fail and when I do I end up failing, my short attempts at figure drawing (I don't draw bodies like at all) yet humans refuse to help me, WE WON'T FORGET THAT

Mhm, yes I'm symbol drawing that much is clear, stuck on keys to drawing midpoint section, can't get past it.

>For figure drawing I start with a loose gesture, and then I start laying in a mannequin (sort of like loomis' mannequins) with proportional guidelines I want to keep track of. Start with the head, and then measure it, place some light lines going down the drawing as markes for head height. Then you just do your visual measuring, and lay stuff in. What is the most general angle that you can describe the form with? Proportions check, and then look again, can you break the angle down into subsequently smaller angles to get the shape you are looking for? Just draw like you are chipping away at a sculpture.
