oh wow, that looks really good, thanks a lot for the advice. I was trying to make him lit from under and in a cave or something, and originally was only going to render the face, but your version is leagues better. here's how far I got though, colours were getting muddy so I had to resort to greyscale, not very pleased with the result but learned quite a bit. do you have a blog or something I could follow you on by any chance?
