A lot of modern art comes off to me like these bad movies people defend because "i-its got a good underlying meta commentary" do. nigger if a movie is boring shit on every level but the meta one not only is it shit, it's also pretentious, and you can't be sure I won't be arsed to attentively sit through it to grasp its supposedly captivating message. I really don't care much about politics and don't want to get involved in the MUH SJW VS INCELS debate but it's hard to not see how fucking retarded the vast majority of young leftists artists are, male or female.
You think I'm exaggerating but just go check an artschool (I'm in one) anywhere and you'll see how bad things really are when it comes to what people think of politics. I really believed Tumblr and Twitter kept to themselves and were a vocal minority, so I'm starting to question my sanity now that I get to hear ramblings about trans or gender nonsense, DRUMF, feminism, safespaces, anxiety and whatnot every day from fellow classmates.

I don't think all you said is wrong really but you underestimate how enormous of an investment it is to raise a single child, especially when they still can't take care of themselves at all.
