wow look at my stuff!

Is this fine to continue or is it going to end up a big wad of fuck by the end? also the puddle looks weird I don't know if it's out of proportion or if it will look better when I finish the grass over there also how can I paint decent looking realistic bark? I wanted smooth bark but couldn't do it in a way that didn't look like ass
