There's something wrong with the nose particularly, any critique much appreciated

Your drawing is very line-dependent, try to capture forms with light and shadow rather than lines. The reference has rounder eyes with more pronounced lids, a less prominent jaw, and a less rectangular head.

The neck is very slim and the eyes are very large for photorealism. The head should measure roughly 5 eyes in width. The top of the head lacks volume - I think the photo might have been taken at a low angle

Photo studies are an invaluable part of learning art. You don't need to use references for everything you draw, but you will find it difficult to improve if you don't study from photos/life once in a while
