Revelation: One of the reasons I’m finding it harder to draw is because every time I step up to the canvas to draw, after standing back to observe, I hold my breath.
I hold my breath until I get done with the line or two and then step back. I then take a big breath and think “wow that was taxing”.
I associated stepping up to the easel with physical stress and that association influenced my desire to do it.

Just thought I’d throw that out there.
