Guess I might as well pop my /ic/ cherry. Had a stab at doing a power-armoured soldier girl of some kind, armour design inspired by a mix of Halo and Bubblegum Crisis amongst other sources. Any tips regarding the lineart?

Also, any advice on achieving "oldschool" anime style colouring (with hard shading and the like)? I dunno if there's any "shortcuts" or if I just have to git gud and knuckle down. I'm using Photoshop CS5 on a Cintiq FWIW.
