not them, but your inability to draw figures, as shown in the OP, is not due to a lack of understanding of anatomy. a clear demonstration of this is the drawing exercise where you draw picrel as it's here oriented (found in Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain and elsewhere). you can analyse a figure drawing on a certain level as a collection of lines and perhaps some tone, assuming you're not painting it. you can know jack about anatomy, but if your ability to *draw what you see* is good, you can replicate anything realistically, whether it be a figure, a portrait, or a church, say.

You did fine anon, it might be a good idea to use a "+" guide like pic related and note the intersections, to start getting used to measuring. But you should also try it with other refs, you've probably got the most out of that Stravinsky thing.

Don't forget to draw for fun on the side of your studying/grinding. Don't wait til your burnt out from practice to start attempting things you like.
