The point was that I wasn't thinking about the fundamentals when I drew this, I was blatantly copying thinking that "after 1,000 hours of copying, THEN I'll be good."

Which is a bunch of bullshit. You HAVE to learn the fundamentals and that means construction and form and perspective and all that other crap.

I don't care how much Proko says that copying is good, I still think he's full of shit. Robert Beverly Hale said that if you can't draw a hand from imagination then you CAN'T draw a hand EVEN if it's in front of you.

Learn to draw from imagination. If you can't draw from imagination, you can't really draw at all.

You guys are ridiculous. It's literally in the courses that people share here.
