I really just got lucky that I was pre-loaded with accuracy training from regular portrait painting. These are really quite fun because you don't need to start with super complex shapes like a face you can start with literally anything like just a few boxes because 80% of the work is going to be getting the first few marks in the correct spot then after that you can use your own well placed marks like anchors to place everything else.
