That's pop art. The basic idea is to color everything like it's the most important and coolest thing in the world, if that makes any sense.
Use extremely high contrast, forget about every shade of lightning that isn't pure white or pitch-black, and forget about any nuance in your color palette. Make everything pop, basically.
