Yeah I've tried that a few times before. My beef with that is that at that point I might as well just misuse Acrylics as watercolors for the base layers.

But yeah I was reading somewhere a few techniques where you can try and use darker watercolors on lighter acrylic skin tones for interesting effect that doesn't ruin it. At the very least it could be a fun experiment to ruin one of the paintings.

I am planning on probably continuing with a watercolor porn screenshot series though.
