It's true though that features of a skull are heritable and vary geographically (though everyone different etc etc). It's not that controversial when people like Elizabeth Watten can claim they must have native ancestry if she has high cheekbones... Plus I could see how keeping these features in mind when constructing a head can make a character seem more convincingly black/white/asian etc.
