Was thinking about this today, but are there any other users that do this kind of exploratory type of lineart? Whenever I do sketches, I never really lay down anything substantial, just a loose base, and then when I start slapping down lines, I prefer to start adding in bits and pieces as I go along.

Whenever I see videos of other artists showing off their process, they always draw every element they intend to line into the sketch from the beginning. idk if my own process is maybe counterproductive to the end product.
