We're talking about shit that is beyond people's control which separates them from talented artists and blokes that will never improve no matter what they do. That is an objective fact of reality.

What are your goals precisely? Do you just want to draw good images as a hobby, what and who are exact examples that the level you want to be at, and why do you like to draw, what EXACTLY are your goals? Is it purely a hobby, or is your goal to get into an industry, if so, what and where in an industry? Animation, concept art, games, illustration, etc. What positions within said industry do you want to hold or have, art director, storyboard artist, illustrator, etc. Or, do you want to freelance, if freelance, what exactly, SFW vs NSFW, comics, commissions. Do you want to make it a job, or just a side fun hobby to flex your skills on the side and make a little money. I would encourage you to actually write a paper first, on why you like to draw, and why you want to do it. But even before that, since I am assuming you MIGHT not be in college, what you would like to do for a living, and create a list of back up plans associated with that. Write out what you would like to do, your goals, jobs, dreams, etc. And sort them accordingly and create an action plan. Set yourself straight first before you commit and think heavily on it, with multiple streams of opinions and critiques on what exactly you want to do.
