How do you decide what to draw/paint?
I've never been good at just creating things from my imagination. My artworks were always created from things I can physically see in front of me. Since returning home from Uni however, there is nothing here where I live to draw or paint apart from boring mundane green hills or ugly pebble-dashed houses.

Essentially I'm looking for some help with inspiration. What inspires you (especially if you're more of a copying from life person like me)
Any help appreciated.
